This was a tough cake to make. I inadvertently baked the cake in a 10-inch round instead of the usual 8 or 9-inch. It was huge, and very hard to work with. In the end though, it turned up all right. This was indeed the biggest cake that we have ever done, and probably the biggest that we will ever do. Our digital scale ran out of batteries, so we couldn't weigh it, but I'm telling you that it had to weigh well over 10 pounds.
We started with a devils food cake, a 13x9 box of brownies, and a 48 ounce bottle of chocolate syrup! We centered it with cookies and cream ice cream encompassed by 5/8 gallon of chocolate ice cream. We topped this baby off with chopped snickers and milky way covered with chocolate shell. Add everything here together and you've got 17,200 calories; a new record.

Dr. Gordon's Cake
We mixed this cake up a little bit differently than usual. Instead of using partial portions of each ingredient, we tried to use as much of each that we possibly could. Somehow, the calories ended up a little less than we imagined, but it weights 9.5 pounds.
The ooey gooey brownie center is encased between a half-gallon of vanilla chocolate chip ice cream which is sandwiched by the moist chocolate cake prepared with our patent-pending process. This mouth-watering layered piece of heaven is then entombed by a half-gallon of chocolate ice cream which is then topped with chopped snickers and brownies, caramel syrup and finally Hershey's shell.
The grand caloric total for this cake, just 13,300 calories which comes out to 830 calories per slice (1/16th).
